The four fragments are based on some of the definitions of Power and Crowd behaviour explored in Elias Canetti’s “Masse und Macht”
Fragments II and IV are both concise settings of the statement “the reversal of the fear of being touched” – which is, according to Canetti, the essential characteristic of a crowd.
